Website Terms
What Spilld does and who these terms are for
These terms are an agreement between you and Spilld LLC ("Spilld", "we"). You accept them by ticking the box on our request form. Spilld is for businesses and the people who work for or advise them. You must be 18 or older. If you act for a business, you promise you can agree to these terms for it.
What an audit shows and does not show
An audit is a dated record of what four AI assistants answered when Spilld asked them a set of questions. We write the questions and ask them the same way every time. The assistants are run by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Perplexity. The report shows what the assistants said, in their own words, and counts how often they named the business. We do not sell fixes, and we do not take money from any business to change what a report says or who it names.
Spilld does not promise any result. AI answers change from one run to the next, so another audit of the same business can give different numbers. We do not promise that an assistant's answer is true or complete. The audit and the report are provided "as is". We do not promise that acting on a report will change what AI assistants say, or bring you customers, sales or revenue.
Asking for an audit
You may ask for an audit only of a business you own or run, or one that has asked you to or given you permission. You promise that is true each time you ask. We review each request, and an audit starts only when we approve it. We may refuse or stop any request, for example if we think you have no right to ask.
We keep a record of each audit. It includes the assistants' full answers, the web pages they cited and the search results they returned, and the information inside them, which can name other businesses. We keep it so a report can be checked against what the assistants said. How long we keep it is in our Privacy Policy.
You keep your rights in what you give us. We keep ours in the audit method, the questions, the software and the report design. You agree that we may use results, without your name or the business's name, to understand patterns, and may publish totals that do not identify you or any business.
Using the website and your report
Your report is at a private link we send you. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it with care. You may share the report with people who work for or advise your business. You may not change the quotes or numbers in it, remove the notice on its last page, or present it as a promise of any result. You may not use the report, or anything from our audits, to train an AI model or to build a competing service.
Use spilld.ai lawfully. Do not try to break in, overload the site, or open other people's reports. Do not copy the site or collect its content by automated means. We may suspend access if you break these rules.
Businesses named in reports
Reports name businesses because the AI assistants named them. We did not choose them. Naming a business in a report is not a recommendation, a review or a ranking of it, and it does not mean we have any link with it. The quotes are the assistants' words, not Spilld's opinion. A report can also show the street address that Google lists for a business.
If you think something in a report about a business is wrong, or you want a business or a person taken out of a report, write to hello@spilld.ai and tell us what and where. We will check that you are the business or person concerned, reply within 30 days, and decide. We may take an item out, or we may decline. If you asked for an audit, you can also ask us to end it early, and we will reply within 30 days with what we can do. Our Privacy Policy says what we keep and for how long.
Other companies' services, including Google
Spilld relies on AI and map services run by other companies. If they fail, change or stop, we are not responsible for that. We will tell you if it affects an audit you asked for.
Spilld uses Google Maps Platform. By using Spilld, you also agree to be bound by the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service and acknowledge Google's Privacy Policy.
Limits, law and contact
To the most the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses. For anything else, we owe no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. These limits do not apply where the law does not let us limit our liability.
Virginia law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state courts in Loudoun County, Virginia, or the federal court whose district includes it.
We may change these terms. We will post the new version with its date. A change applies only to audits requested after it takes effect, and the request form asks you to accept the terms in force at that time. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Spilld. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies.
