Sample report
A report that survives a hostile reader.
Agencies hand this document to their clients; owners hand it to their business partners. It's built for that moment: every finding in it is tied to the stored answer that produced it.
SAMPLE · NOT LIVE — The figures come from one real audit, with the shop, its rivals and its town renamed. The example answer is invented and other names in it are redacted. The structure is the real report's.

The cover
The shop, the town, and the headline result
The cover names the shop, the town and the date of the audit, and leads with the headline result. Agencies can put their own logo and colors on it.

Where you stand
How often each assistant recommends the shop
From AI memory and when the AI searches the web, side by side — then assistant by assistant, so a client can see which assistants know the shop and which don't.

- Claude
- Gemini

The visibility gap
Where the shop is invisible, and who's named instead
The questions where no assistant found the shop, the questions where the answers disagreed, and the shops named instead — local rivals checked against Google as real businesses, national chains listed separately.
- “best brake shop near me”
- “my car's overheating, who do I call”
“Who’s a good independent shop for brakes in Millbrook?”
…Both are independent and list brake inspections on their websites. Maple Street Auto also comes up, but I couldn’t find enough recent information to say how it compares.
Illustrative — the format of a stored answer. The shop is invented; other names withheld. A real report names them.
In this sample auditNo assistant found the shop on 23 of the 50 questions.
Sources cited in answers
The sites the assistants cited
When an assistant searches the web before answering, it cites pages as sources. The report lists those sites and how often each was cited. Answers from AI memory cite nothing, so this section covers the searching answers only.
Sources cited in answers
- a review site
- a local directory
- the shop's own website
In this sample audit381 different sites were cited across 570 live answers.
The method page
How we measured — and the honest limits.
A shop counts as Recommended only when the answer endorses it by name, and the quote we keep must appear word for word in that answer. If we can't verify the quote, the answer counts as not finding you. If an answer couldn't be judged at all, it's left out of the count. Matching a business name inside free AI text is imperfect: it can miss a mention, and it can credit the wrong business. AI answers change over time; this report is a timestamped snapshot.
What is deliberately not in it
A dollar figure for "revenue at risk"
Tools love this number because it sells. We removed it because nobody can trace it to evidence. Your report shows the visibility gap and which shops are named instead.
Certainty we don't have
If an audit doesn't pass our quality gate, it's held instead of delivered, and you're told.
